The last time the Knickerbockers won a title (way back in 1973...ask your grandfather about it), Knickerbocker was still a local brand of beer and the Knicks sixth man was a gangly sort named Phil Jackson. The best way to shut up a loudmouth New York sports fan is to bring up the lowly Knicks.
